The project at Harris Lane began with a clear objective: to immunise the property against rising energy costs while fully utilising the building’s available structural footprint.
The homeowners sought a robust, high-yield system that went beyond simple daylight savings. Following a comprehensive site analysis, our team designed a bespoke 13.1 kWp solution that capitalises on both the front and rear elevations of the house.
This split-orientation approach ensures a more consistent energy generation curve throughout the day, capturing morning and late-afternoon sunlight rather than just peak midday spikes.
Technically, the installation is built for maximum efficiency and monetisation. We deployed 27 premium 485W panels paired with a sophisticated dual-inverter configuration totalling 14 kW of capacity.
This specific dual-setup was critical; it ensures the system can handle high loads while allowing the user to export and get paid for 100% of their surplus electricity.
Furthermore, we integrated a 10.36 kWh battery storage system that bridges the gap to their pre-existing EV charger, effectively allowing the homeowners to fuel their vehicle with free, self-generated solar power long after the sun goes down.
